  • Pronounced Jah-see, Gyasi seems in many ways to come from another planet, and being raised in the woods of a West Virginia holler might as well be another planet in this day and age. He approaches his music as an all-encompassing art piece, using fashion, storytelling, and his guitar to create a world for his music. Inspired by a wide range of art and culture both past and present, his work is fueled by an undeniable passion to create music that brings rock n roll into the 21st century. Gyasi is a modern rock star like no other.

Red Mass is a gathering of musicians, agent provocateurs and artists, from around the globe. Created by Roy Vucino as part of the ‘Free Creative Enterprise’ TA DA arts collective, its goal is to create music and art, in various mediums while incorporating techniques of automatic creation as well as chaos magic. To do so, the Mass forgoes any allegiance to a specific genre or sound and works outside of the standard band format. This allows the Mass to work with as many international collaborators as it likes regardless of their experience or musical background. The present core of ‘Red Mass’ is comprised of Roy Vucino and partner Hannah Lewis. Eager to explore new soundscapes and to collaborate with musicians all over the world, the band has amassed more than 100 participating artists and musicians in its ranks. Collaborations with some of our idols, our friends, our family members and with strangers who want to create something subversive. As above, so below. We welcome you to the Red Mass.

Soft Palms is the immersive dream-pop project of Julia Kugel and Scott Montoya, a Long Beach-based duo crafting expansive, hypnotic soundscapes from the comfort of their home studio, Centre of Mental Arts (COMA). Blending lo-fi warmth with textural sophistication, Soft Palms feels like a lucid dream set to analog tape, equal parts meditative, cinematic, and deeply human. The pair, both seasoned creatives and longtime collaborators, record, produce, and mix everything themselves, operating far outside the confines of traditional studio systems. Kugel (of The Coathangers, Julia, Julia) brings her ethereal vocal layers and lyrical intimacy, while Montoya (formerly of The Growlers) shapes the sonic architecture with a meticulous, vintage-informed approach to engineering and instrumentation.Their 2020 self-titled debut, released via Everloving Records, introduced Soft Palms as a genre-fluid exploration of ambient pop, psych, and shoegaze, garnering underground acclaim for its lush arrangements and DIY production style. Follow-up singles “Wash Your Hands” and “Each Wave That Breaks” (2022) continued that trajectory, thoughtful, textural, and sonically transportive. In 2026, Soft Palms return with their most expansive work yet: IN ECHO (Everloving Records). Written and recorded at COMA, the album builds on their signature atmosphere while diving deeper into layered introspection, sonic vulnerability, and cosmic repetition. It’s not just a record, it’s a mood, a place, and a reflection of the world turning inward. Soft Palms is less a band and more a state of mind, where sound becomes sanctuary, and each note feels like it was meant just for you.
