Glad to announce Los Angeles-based band Hooveriii is now in U-Turn roster. Tour dates are coming soon …
« For those unfamiliar with Hoover III, the vibe is that of a driving, psychedelic space rock band, with enough shred-laden, dual-guitar work to impress the heads and more hooks than a Peter Pan (pirate?) convention. This batch of songs blends sweetness and crunch better than your favorite breakfast cereal and the effect lasts longer too. One listen and you’ll have these melodic riffs and caloric choruses buried in your mind grapes so deep you’ll need to have them surgically extracted. If you enjoyed the songs Bert wrote for Mind Meld, you won’t be disappointed by the penmanship Hoover has brought to the table here and there’s even more sonic layers to sink your canines into. It’s not surprising that this version of the band has stuck longer than any other and they’ve already shared stages with Oh Sees, Kikagaku Moyo, Fuzz, ORB, Acid Mother Temple, & more. Soon enough, you’ll be seeing them at the top of the bill, blowing the minds of everyone within earshot.”

April 2020 is going to be punk rock and BLUES ! Indeed, American band Handsome Jack and English one Henry’s Funeral Shoe will be touring in Europe at the same time, spreading blues vibes everywhere they’ll go.
First one is Handsome Jack, hailing from Lockport NY, they play a powerful and emotional fusion of boogie soul and rock n roll. On “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” the trio digs deeper into its soulful influences, brilliantly bringing back to life the classic sounds of Chicago, Memphis and Muscle Shoals, all rolled into one timeless record of American rock music for a new generation.
Second one is called Henry’s Funeral Shoe and it’s from South Wales. The dexterous brothers have finally joined forces to create some of the loudest soulful rock’n’roll to come out the UK in a long time. Their brand new album ‘Smartphone Rabbit Hole’ is out since 21st September. Give it a try below :
The famous American post-punk band from Washington will be touring in the area next year ! After their dissolution in early 2000, and a quick reunion in 2013, The Make Up (Dischord Records) finally announced US and European Tour in 2017. Described as « highly energetic and participatory live shows », you gonna have to wait until 2020 to see these incredible performances in Europe. Get ready !
We are pleased to announce Frankie & The Witch Fingers in our 2020 roster. Signed on Greenway Records, the Los Angeles-based band released « Zam » on March 1st. Can’t wait to see them performing this masterpiece in Europe next year !
Joined by the Freedom Band (Shannon Lay, Mikal Cronin, Emmett Kelly …), Ty Segall will play every night an entire album selected in his discography and another set from his new album without guitars, « First Taste », released on 2 last August on Drag City Records.
The whole Europe is waiting for those special gigs. In fact, the prolific Ty Segall returns to Paris in October for TWO shows events on October 9 and 10 at La Cigale.
Most of Oh Sees shows has been sold out and we understand why. With 22 studio albums (if I remember well), the band cruise between hits and exclusive tracks from new album Face Stabber. The two drummers are more synchronized than ever, John Dwyer, the frontman, operates as an orchestra director and the new member Thomas Dolan on keys make the all thing smoother. The kind of tour we won’t forget, for sure !
